How can you define “car enthusiasts”? You cannot define them by race, by language or by country. The only common denominator that they all share is a true and deep passion for automobiles and everything that is related to that.
We can narrow down the dream of every car enthusiast in a simple sentence: “driving your desired car every day”. This desire is not quantifiable in terms of money but it is more about the unique features that make an automobile special for you. These simple words, put together, identify the strong will, or better the need, for a “car-guy” (or car-girl) to drive an individually refined vehicle, capable of representing your deepest essence and of expressing your personality like no other automobile would.

But how do we customise our own vehicle, to make it unique?

Since the last decades we have borrowed the term “tuning” from the English language, a simple word capable of bringing out different feelings in every one of us and, at the same time, describing the most complicated visions, which other words or even sentences could not do.

There are no written rules, there is not a right path to follow. Tuning is an art, and like every art, it has different interpretations, movements and theories which, like trends, vary together with decades, cultures and technological development.

The reality is that tuning has no father or mother, has no rules and it will never have. Everywhere you go, you will meet people who are willing to proudly show their creations, discussing with you their choices and willing to listen to your story. Genuine people who smile at you and respect you for the choices you made, not judging the outcome, but simply because you, as they, dared to choose.

Tuning is then choosing, … choosing to be different, choosing to be yourself. The choice of being different from the average, different from the masses. You can develop a livery, bright colours, you can always improve your technique, refine your style like in every other art. Like every other discipline, tuning requires sacrifice and exercise and, most of all, time. Time is essential to think and to decide the right path to follow.

As a society, we are evolving and so do our cars. This does not have to scare car lovers because there will always be a way to make your ride special and unique.

Do not look back and think that everything is lost, that in earlier times it was easier, do not fall in that trap! Live the moment, live now, take your car and your responsibility, and act! Tuning is evolving too. Many things that were not even thinkable a decade ago are now commonly available and can help you succeed in your process. I found no better way to open this Josefin Garage Blog with an article regarding tuning and the wide range of possibilities to make your vehicle the mirror of your driver’s soul.

As previously said, tuning is an art and some people have real talent for it. When you have an idea in your mind you go and discuss it with for example an architect, so that he or she can advise you on how dispose the furniture into a room or on how building a house from scratch. That is his or her field of expertise. Consequently, there are tuning experts, talented artists who have experience and can advise you the best possibilities available to reach your goals.

At Josefin Garage we welcome our passionate friends in our automotive-inspired workshop. We sit around our carbon-fibre table and we let you talk and tell us about your story, your idea and your project. this first step is essential in order to realise a first draft that is in line with your own expectations; something that is in harmony with your personality and your way of thinking.

We would like to share with you our passion for automobiles also through this new Blog experience.
